  • INTER HOUSE DANCE COMPETITION 2022-23
  • “Dance is our pulse, our heartbeat, our breathing; it’s the rhythm of our life”

    An Inter House Folk Dance Competition for the students of Class III to XII was held on 26 August, 2022. The students dressed up in colourful costumes swayed to the beats of folk music of India. Participants with their energetic dances captivated the audience.

    The first position was bagged by Chenab House which performed Lavani representing the joyous spirit and valor of Maharsasthra. Jhelum House bagged the second Position who represented Dandia of Gujarat and Third position was of Ravi who opted for folk dance of Rajasthan was closely followed by Ganga House.

  • INTER HOUSE CHESS COMPETITION 2022-23
  • “Chess holds its master in its own bonds, shackling the mind and brain so that the inner freedom of the very strongest must suffer”

    Chess in one of the games, which very few can master. To make children have mastery of this game, an “Inter House Chess Competition” was organised for classes 3 to 12. The participants showed great enthusiasm and thoroughly enjoyed playing Chess. The matches clearly brought forth the eagerness with which our students were building their skills in Chess.

    Class VI to VIII : Jhelum House bagged the first position, Ganga House came second, Ravi House secured third position and Chenab house came fourth.

    Class IX to XII : Ganga House bagged the first position, Ravi House came second, Jhelum House secured third position and Chenab house came fourth.

  • INTER HOUSE MUSIC COMPETITION 2022-23
  • “Music gives wings to the heart and takes it to the world of joy”

    The students of Delhi Public School Hathras participated in Inter House Music Competition on August 17, 2022. It was held for the students of Classes III to XII. They did take us to a world where music was the language. The students prepared and performed under the guidance of House Wardens & members for the competition.

    The young aspiring singers enthralled the judges & the audience with their wonderful mellifluous voices.

    Ravi House was the winner, Ganga House came second, third position was bagged by Jhelum House, and Chenab House got fourth position.

  • SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON JANMASHTAMI 2022-23
  • Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.

    To celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty, Delhi Public School Hathras organized the event in Wonder land on 17th of August.

    The students dressed up as lord Krishna and Radha, carried flutes, and matkas. The celebration that followed was truly entertaining and educating.

    A lot of fun-filled activities like painting, pasting, dance etc were part of the celebration.

    The purpose of the joyous celebration was to inculcate value of sharing and respect in the students.

  • HEALTH CAMP 2022-23
  • On 05.08.2022, a Health Camp was organized for students from Class Nursery to Class XII. All eminent and famous doctors of Hathras were invited. All the doctors emphasized the necessity for personal health and hygiene. The doctors advised the students to eat healthy balanced food and to keep himself or herself clean. Workshop for Girls too was conducted by the Eminent Gynaecologists.

  • INTER HOUSE CARROM COMPETITION 2022-23
  • Carrom is one of the most popular indoor games in our country. It is a scientific game and is based on Physics and Geometry. It requires thorough knowledge of angles, deftness of touch, keen sight and superlative control of nerves besides mental and physical fitness. It also requires skill and deep concentration. Delhi Public School Hathras organized Inter House Carrom Competition on 29th August 2022 for Classes III to V. The competition was held in the school sports room for all the four houses .The students excitement and enthusiasm for the competition filled the room with spirit of energy and positivity. All the participants played very well. Excellent sportsmanship was the highlight of the event.

    Ravi House bagged the first position, while Jhelum House and Ganga House stood second and third respectively. The contest enriched one and all. The pupils found the competition fun-filled and educative.

  • PINK COLOUR DAY ACTIVITY 2022-23
  • On 22.08.2022, Class Nursery to II celebrated Pink Day. The tiny tots came dressed in Pink and brought Pink colour objects.

    Dressed in Pretty pink and adorable accessories, dolls of DPS added vigour to the day. All the students looked charismatic in their pink colour attire.

    The teachers too dressed up elegantly in pink to encourage the students.

    The wonderland was embellished in pink using balloons, soft toys, dolls and props. The young ones enjoyed the activity and understood the aesthetic sum of pink colour. Thus the goal was successfully achieved.

  • SPLASH POOL FUN 2022-23
  • A sultry day of summer has been the joyful for our little champs as they got a chance to beat the heat with the soothing coolness of the splash pool. Water play activities for children strengthen motor skills, build balance and the ability to propel and navigate. Keeping all these things in mind, Delhi Public School Hathras Keeping all these things in mind, Delhi Public School Hathras organized a fun pool organized a fun pool party for the students of Class Nursery to Class II today i.e. Friday, 08 July, 2022. The splash pool was abundantly decorated with balloons, balls and children were in full mood of having a cool aqua fun day. The tiny tots turned in colourful swim suits and whilst everybody had enjoyed playing in the water.. The fun continued when they had posed for their lovely pictures being clicked to be treasured as beautiful memories.

  • PLANTATION PROGRAMME 2022-23
  • DPS Hathras organized a tree plantation programme. The students and teachers participated in the plantation drive. The Teachers and Gardeners guided students on how to plant a sapling. The aim of the program was to plant more than 100 saplings in the school campus. Ms. Neena Chaku, Principal of the school applauded students for their participation.

  • SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON EARTH DAY 2022-23
  • On 22.04.2022 every year, Earth Day is celebrated to remind the students of their duties towards ‘Mother Nature’. As a part of environmental education, "Go- Green" initiative was taken to engage the whole school community in making a difference. Earth Day was celebrated through educational and action-oriented activities that were fun. The students presented a beautiful song and dance quoting the relevance of earth and its beauty. The celebration’s motive was to instill in all, the responsibility towards the safety and conserving the earth.

  • GURU NANAK DEV JI ANNIVERSARY 2020-2021
  • Guru Nanak Dev ji was the first of the ten Sikh gurus and the founder of Sikhism. His birth anniversary of is observed as ‘Gurpurab’ across the globe.

    This year Guru Nanak Jayanti celebrated virtually on the 30th of November 2020.

    The tiny tots also presented the bhangra to the traditional bhangra drumbeats & a traditional sikh song ….

  • VARIOUS ACTIVITIES ON THE OCCASION OF DIWALI 2020-2021
  • Delhi Public School Hathras organised various activities on the occasion of Diwali. Kids of class Nursery and Prep decorated the Diya with mirrors and painted them with the colours of their choice. Students of class I & II had Diwali fun party by creating paper crackers.

    Class III made wonderful rangoli by their own that symbolises “Colours to Beautify Your Lives”.

    Students enjoyed the diwali fun activity.

  • VIRTUAL SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON DIWALI 2020-2021
  • The exhilaration and celebratory spirit that Diwali brings is unmatchable. To add to the first festive fervour, students of DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL HATHRAS presented a special virtual assembly on Diwali.

    The assembly emphasized the importance of ‘No to Crackers’ by a puppet show.

    This was followed by a melodious song by juniors. A beautiful dance was also performed by the talented toddlers wishing all a very happy Diwali. The assembly came to an end with fabulous rangoli by the students. These highlighted the festivity and good cheer of the festival.

  • CELEBRATED THE NAVRATRI FESTIVAL VIRTUALLY 2020-2021
  • Delhi Public School Hathras celebrated the Navratri festival virtually. The students from class III to VIII attired in traditional dresses added to the festive mood. Students were told about the importance of nine days of Navratri.

    Special assembly on Dussehra was also organized in the end to tell the students about Ramayana.Students decorated dandiya sticks and shared thought ,facts ,speech on the particular topic.

  • STUDENTS FROM CLASS NURSERY TO II ENJOYED SHARING FACTS RELATED TO DUSHERRA 2020-2021
  • Online initiative by Delhi public school Hathras – Students from class Nursery to II enjoyed sharing facts related to dusherra. Later, they made a sketch of Maa Durga. Kids were quite happy with the activity and shared their creativity.

  • SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON THE OCCASION OF NAVRATRI FESTIVAL 2020-2021
  • A special assembly on the occasion of Navratri festival, was presented by the children of the Delhi Public School Hathras. Celebrating the victory of good over evil. The students showcased Dandiya and Garba through their performance.
